Are you an LB student looking to showcase your creative skills and connect with other students? Roast Runners is kickstarting their live poetry and acoustic guitar event, Wednesday Lunch Live, this winter term and they are looking for more students to participate.
Set to begin the second week of January, every Wednesday at noon there will be live music or poetry at Roast Runners. There will be at least one artist each week.
All LB students and faculty are welcome to attend or showcase their original work. Original poems and music are preferred, but if you are looking to play a cover song please check with Ian Priestman or Blaise Timmons.
The current line-up for the first event is Ian Priestman on guitar and Jerry Coe on vocals. They are looking for other students and faculty to fill up the spots each Wednesday. Spots are limited each week so sign up quickly!
If you are interested in participating or have any questions, contact Blaise or Ian through blaise.timmons.6327@mail.linnbenton.edu or priesti@linnbenton.edu.
