EUGENE — The Linn-Benton volleyball team capped off their regular season run with a 3-1 road victory Friday, Nov. 7, over the Titans of Lane Community College.
The Roadrunners (22-6, 13-3 NWAC South) got off to a hot start, winning the opening two sets before the Titans (15-13, 9-7 NWAC South) won the third set. Linn-Benton rallied to win the fourth set to claim the victory and snap Lane’s seven-match win streak.
Linn-Benton will enter post season play as the second seed out of the south region and will travel east to Ontario, Oregon for their regional matchups. The team looks to advance from the regional and head back to the NWAC Championships, held this year in Pasco, Washington.
