Over the weekend, Grocery Outlet of Albany was recognized as Sponsor of the Year at the Oregon Festival and Events Association’s Ovation Awards. This award celebrates their incredible partnership in the LBCC Foundation’s Grilled Cheese Roadshow earlier this fall.
Thanks to the generosity of Ken and Cindy Silva, Grocery Outlet of Albany donated all the bread, cheese, and water needed to serve more than 800 students across four LBCC campuses — helping us address student food insecurity while promoting scholarship opportunities. They went above and beyond, even stepping behind the grill to serve students firsthand.
We’re also excited to share that Grocery Outlet of Albany will be joining us again for the upcoming Pancake Roadshow! Stay tuned for more details as we gear up for another great event bringing food and support to our students.
