School finally started on February 12 for The Periwinkle Child Development Center and they are welcoming everyone in an Open House on February 13.

Date and time: February 13, from 4:00-5:30
Who can attend: It is open to the public. Everyone from the community is invited to attend.
Event details: There will be a ribbon cutting, and people will be invited to take a tour of the newly renovated building. Attendees can also participate in a scavenger hunt and an activity on display in the center. Photos will be up showing the construction process. The mayor and other distinguished guests have been invited.
Speakers: LBCC President Lisa will do a ribbon cutting and short speech; Dean of Business, Education, and Liberal Arts Meg Roland and Periwinkle Director Kendra Votava will also speak briefly.
Interested in working at Periwinkle? They are looking for more teachers. Applicants with a BA/BS plus two years of experience working with preschoolers are encouraged to apply. The starting rate is $26.44/hr.
