Linn-Benton Community College and the American Red Cross will be hositing a blood drive at LB’s Calapooia Center in Albany on Oct. 16 and 17.
“The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community,” read a schoolwide statement from the Red Cross and SLC president Travis Overvig. “Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every two to three seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.”
