Pam Pniak Thompson, photographed on November 7, 2023, is a local jewelry and encaustic artist who also happens to be a member of the artist co-op TEAL. Every year in November and December, the co-op opens an art gallery in Corvallis, showcasing the work of over 20 local fine artists. All revenue goes directly to the artists themselves, who specialize in a wide range of work, from wood sculpture to hand woven baskets. Pam herself has a BFA degree in Jewelry and Metals, and often employs ancient techniques such as the Korean process of fusing 24-karat gold onto silver, known as Keum-boo, when making her jewelry. Luscher Farms City Park is one of my cities local parks, it has many features including a dog park (pictured above), a track, soccer fields, and a playground.The Oregon City food carts are a new addition to Oregon City, the neighboring city of my hometown. They aren’t too busy in the late fall, but are packed during the summertime. All sorts of cuisine gets sold here, including vegan, barbeque, Thai, Indian, and Italian dishes.

The bright sun and dark clouds create a soft haze over the Albany clock tower. The 60-foot clock tower is located in the center of a roundabout at the train station and it is owned by the city of Albany. It was constructed in December of 2006 when the Greater Albany Rotary Club donated the two clocks. November 12, 2023. Two people inspect a collection of vivid green plants at a Plant Swap in the LBCC greenhouse. Students and parents dropped off plants that they no longer wanted and brought home new plants. The Plant Swap took place on the Albany campus on November 8, 2023. Megan Scalise has been working at Restyle for three years in Albany, Oregon. When asked what her favorite part about working there is, Megan said that she loves getting to work with pre-loved clothing and seeing customers find new items that they love. Benton County Courthouse in downtown Corvallis on Sunday afternoon. The courthouse, built in 1889, is the oldest in Oregon still being used for its original purpose. Happy Raku Fish created by Nina Duong hang near the window of TEAL co-operative art gallery on Monday afternoon. Nina moved to Oregon from Sweden and uses a technique called raku firing to create her fish. Officer Chase Tedrow views the laptop in his patrol car outside of the Corvallis police station on Sunday afternoon. Officer Tedrow graduated from the Oregon Public Safety Academy in the winter of 2021. Artist Linda Avery poses with some of her leather works at TEAL co-operative art gallery on Monday afternoon. Linda is one of the 23 artists that help contribute and operate the seasonal art gallery. AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” album on display at Happy Trails Records on Sunday evening in downtown Corvallis. The Midway Drive-in Theatre, located on what is now Highway 20, welcomed locals from 1949 to 1987. Since its closure, the original sign has been restored and is now located on the side of the former Great Harvest Bread Co. building on 1st Street in Corvallis, where it now displays lines of poetry instead of movie titles.
