The Linn-Benton volleyball team will hit the road this week as they head to Ontario, Oregon to participate in the 2025 NWAC Championship East Regional. The Roadrunners enter the post season as the second seed out of the South Region.
Their first opponent of the regional will be the Trojans of Everett Community College, the third seed out of the West Region. Their match is scheduled for a 9 a.m. first serve on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Under the regional format, Linn-Benton will play Everett in match one of the east regional. The winner will advance to the next round of the regional, which will be played on Sunday, Nov. 16. The loser of that match will face the loser of Treasure Valley and Tacoma, match two, which is slated for a noon start time.
The two teams that lose their first round match will face each other in match three, approximately 90 minutes after the conclusion of Treasure Valley and Tacoma. The team that wins that match advances to Sunday and the loser is eliminated from post season play.
The winners of Saturday matches one and two will face off at 9 a.m. Sunday in match four. The winner of that match will advance to the Elite Eight as the top seed out of the east region. The loser of that match will face the winner of Saturday’s match three approximately 90 minutes after match four has concluded.
