ALBANY — Days after claiming the number one seed from the NWAC Championship east regional, the Linn-Benton volleyball team is advancing to the Elite 8. Since moving to the regional format in 2021, this will mark the program’s fifth consecutive appearance at the final site, hosted this year in Pasco, Washington on the campus of Columbia Basin College.
Their first match of the Elite 8 will see Linn-Benton face Bellevue College on Friday, Nov. 21. The Bulldogs earned an impressive 30-3 record thus far, finished second in the north region during the regular season and advanced out of the west regional as the two seed. The Roadrunners have a record of 24-6 overall and 13-3 in the NWAC south region.
