Linn-Benton Community College campuses will be closed until 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, the school announced Thursday night.
The college shut down its campuses for all of Feb. 13 following a storm that resulted in snow that lasted for much of the day. While the area’s winter storm warning continues into the night, NOAA projects that Albany has a slight chance of rain and snow before 10 a.m., after which it’s projected to be sunny with a high of 44 degrees Fahrenheit.
While remote classes will continue as normal on Friday, those with in-person classes beginning before 10 a.m. will get to sleep in a bit longer. However, the school urges them to check with their instructors about class plans and assignments potentially moving online.
