The Oregon State University Small Farms Program and Linn County Public Health are hosting a free screening of the critically acclaimed feature film Farming While Black in the Tripp Theater next Thursday, February 5 at 6 pm.
The film highlights the rising generation of Black farmers who are finding strength in deep historical knowledge of African agrarianism — and its potential to save the planet. The screening will be followed by a question and answer session with the film’s director Marc Decena.
This event is open to all community members. Free to attend, no tickets needed.
