Oregon’s Measure 110, passed in November 2020 by 58.46% of voters, is a landmark drug policy that decriminalizes the possession of small amounts of hard drugs including heroin, methamphetamine, LSD, and oxycodone. Instead of criminal penalties, it focuses on providing addiction treatment and harm reduction services. The measure aims to prioritize a public health approach to drug addiction and reduce the incarceration of individuals for drug offenses.
A recent poll shows that the majority of Oregon voters now want to repeal Measure 110. You can learn more about Measure 110 on Ballotpedia.
