The LBCC Writing Center – A Resource Available to You

The Writing Center is a free resource for all your writing needs. The staff at the Writing Center, which is located on the first floor of Willamette Hall in the Library on the Albany Campus, is waiting for you. The services they provide are seemingly endless: grammatical help, essay revisions, brainstorming, research guidance, and – some would say most importantly – encouragement. They are happy to help you with any writing project, school related or not. There is no air of criticism or judgement within their walls. It is an open, respectful, and caring place where you can cultivate and gain confidence in yourself and your writing skills.
As a student, you have options to access the guidance you need. You can make an online Zoom appointment through TutorTrac. You can drop-in physically during open hours, Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. You can submit your work through the OWL (Online Writing Lab) and get completely virtual feedback within 72 hours. You can also contact the Writing Center with any questions by emailing writingcenter@linnbenton.edu or even call if you have something urgent.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out and connect with The Writing Center. They are ready and eager to help you on your writing journey.
