Ceramics After Dark

Students enrolled in Ceramics at the Benton Center in Corvallis Thursday October 7th 2017, manage their time at open hours to completer their weekly projects. The ceramics lab features new, student made and installed tiled sink back splashes inspired by the moon. Clay work not only inspires the creativity of each student but therapeutically works out themselves while wedging and preparing the clay for use. Classes are taught by Renee McKitterick who patiently demonstrates and answers all her students questions. Renee encourages her students to explore new avenues in clay manipulation. To sign up for ceramics, simply register for next term, expect minimal extra expenses such as clay (Under $20) and a tool kit. Learning a new art or expanding your knowledge is rewarding for your brain and dish collection.
