Women Veterans to be Celebrated at the Benton Center

The Benton Center in Corvallis is celebrating women veterans with the “I am Not Invisible” exhibit. It is open to the public from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. on Friday, April 12. It will start with stories from different women veterans, including Wendy Morris who is the veteran service officer in Benton County. After refreshments and stories, there will be workshops for student veterans to help work on their resumes and personal statements to help with employment. There will also be booths from several organizations, including the Military Helpline, SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families), and DVOP (Disabled Veterans Outreach Program).
